Port City Brewing Company, A Hidden Alexandria gem!

We discovered Port City while biking along Holmes Run Trail in Alexandria, VA. Located in what appears to be an industrial park, the Port City Brewery has an nice exterior that includes an outside drinking area (with a firepit), plenty of parking, and a bike rack for anyone that wants to travel there the way we did.
The interior is simple: two bars, typical bar seating arrangements, and a back around with additional seating and arcade games. If your interested, Port City does offer tours of the brewery, and has events that take place every month as well.
The beer is great! And with 9 beers on tap, typically ranging in price from $3 (Taster) to $7 (Tulip,Pint), there's guaranteed to be a beer on the menu to satisfy any taste and price point. If you like stronger beers (think Guinness), I suggest the Porter (Robust Porter, 7.2% ABV), easily one of the best in the category.
