Nostalgia galore at Bengies Drive-In Theatre!

Bengies Drive-In, the largest movie screen in the U.S.
Bengies is home to the largest movie screen in the U.S.

If you're looking for a fun and unique way to have a movie night, then Bengies' is definitely worth checking out! Said to have the largest movie screen in the U.S., every seat in the house offers a great view! You can also choose to watch the movie from the comfort of your car, or setup chairs and enjoy your movie al fresco.

The price is only $10 per person for a double feature, and all the movies shown are current movies (we saw The Lion King and Aladdin). The first movie is said to start at 8:15pm, but ours started around 8:45pm after the sun went down. After the first movie there was a brief intermission where they showed movie previews and you could vote on what you wanted to see by flashing your headlights. The second movie started about 11pm. We didn't end up leaving until a little after 1:00am, but you are free to leave any time - you do not have to wait for intermission or the second movie to end.

When it comes to snacks, you are allowed to bring your own food and drinks, but you'll be charged a $10 fee for outside food. If you decide to purchase snacks at Bengie's, they offer the same snacks you'll find at any traditional movie theater, but slightly cheaper, and there's an additional discount if you pay in cash.

All-in-all, we would highly recommend Bengie's for anyone seeking a fun and nostalgic movie experience!
